My passion for yoga began over 35 years ago and I have been a qualified yoga teacher for over 10 years. I initially completed a 200-hour teacher training certificate, then took a further 300-hour course. I have also spent many years studying and gain qualifications, experience & knowledge in teaching therapeutic yoga, functional yoga, somatic movement, chair yoga & pregnancy yoga.
My approach to teaching is to encourage people to take care of their body & mind by moving in ways that feel nourishing which in turn helps to relax the nervous system.
My focus is on helping people to move well for life and improve physical & mental wellbeing. Each class is designed to increase mobility, strength, balance, to prevent injury and to improve breathing and relaxation techniques. I truly believe if you practice this style of yoga regularly you will move better and feel better.
